Who can attend the KTM ACADEMY OF SPEED?
Everyone is welcome to attend the KTM Academy of Speed. The only requirement is to be at least 18 years old and the possession of a valid driving license. For the ones not owning a KTM Bike - there is also the option of Bike rental (see Booking Options).
Are there any special requirements concerning the bike?
Please note that there are certain noise limits that must be adhered to. At the Salzburgring we have a noise limit of 102 decibels, at the Red Bull Ring there is a limit of 110 decibels and at the Slovakia Ring we also have a limit of 110 decibels. So please make sure your motorcycle complies with noise restrictions when participating in the KTM Academy of Speed. Furthermore for participants with an KTM RC 8C it is mandatory to have an Akrapovic silencer installed (when buying it online, please note that you also need the exhaust bracket).
When is the KTM ACADEMY OF SPEED taking place?
In 2024, we will have three different dates to ensure there is something for everyone:
- Salzburgring, June 20, 2024 - June 21, 2024
- Red Bull Ring, July 17, 2024 - July 18, 2024
- Slovakiaring, September 4, 2024 - September 5, 2024
Can I camp near the track during the KTM ACADEMY OF SPEED?
Yes, you can bring your mobile home or trailer to the track and will be allowed to stay on the track during the days of the event. This will be completely free for you. On-site, we will have toilet facilities available, as well as electricity connections. Note, that you can only arrive at the venue earliest around 6pm the day before the event and we will all have to leave in the evening at the final day of the event. Thank you!
What are the requirements when I choose to take part at the KTM ACADEMY OF SPEED?
Requirements for the taking part in any of the riding experiences:
- The participants of the Rookie and ambitious Amateur groups need to have proper street riding gear, including a helmet, boots, gloves, and appropriate clothing according to current safety standards
- The Pro Rider group needs a proper racing suit, including a helmet, boots and gloves according to current safety standards
- being over 18 years old
- rider needs to be practiced in operating a motorcycle with manual transmission
- having your own medical insurance
Please also make sure to realistically assess your skills yourself and register for the group that is right for you!
Where and when can I check-in and collect all essential information?
Please Check-in and collect your riding passes for the riding activites at our registration stands during following opening hours:
- Day 1, 07:00 - 08:00 AM
- Day 2, 07:00 - 08:00 AM
I have registered and completed all the necessary information, but I have not received any email. What should I do next?

Will there be food and drink options available at the KTM ACADEMY OF SPEED?
Yes, we have you covered! Besides of the included Lunch there will also be a Coffee place for all KTM Academy of Speed participants where we will provide you with Coffee, Beverages and Snacks, ensuring that you stay energized throughout the event.
Is parking available at the KTM ACADEMY OF SPEED?
There will be plenty of parking spots available for attendees. You can park your vehicles conveniently and enjoy the event without any parking concerns.
Will there be a Gas station at the Racetracks?
Yes, all three Tracks offer a Gas station where suitable fuel will be available.
Is there the option to get new tires on site?
Yes, our Partner Michelin will be on site to support you with tires and service. They will also have rain tires available in case it is raining on the day of the event.
For Rookies and Ambitious Amateurs we recommend Street tires. For Pro Riders we recommend Slicks, but Street tires are allowed. All kind of tires are available at our Partners` booth.
Are there any possibilities to get something to eat for non-participants?
Yes, all three Tracks have a restaurant on site where all accompanying persons can have lunch and refreshments.
